VeHOLD™ is an enterprise wide data preservation system that identifies, preserves, and quarantines electronically stored information (ESI) located on network servers and corporate e-mail servers in anticipation of, or in response to, litigation. When a potential litigation is recognized, clients are able to identify and quarantine ESI particular to that matter in an automated and forensically secure method that minimizes the risk of spoliation.

The application operates on a 24/7 basis indexing or recording any changes to the text of current documents and e-mail or the creation of new files/documents. All textual data is forensically captured and preserved in a compressed manner to allow immediate access to data in response to a litigation hold.

Most importantly, the application is automated and retrieves designated ESI without custodial discretion. The client, through a simple, secure portal, is able to forensically segregate and quarantine ESI without the need for custodian and/or IT intervention. The segregated data may be maintained or preliminarily searched for review and then exported for full analysis if required.
