VeHARVEST™ is a proprietary application that enables active data to be forensically collected from a client’s network servers and PCs during normal business hours without business interruption. VeHARVEST™ provides counsel and corporations with a cost effective, forensically accurate alternative for responding to discovery requests or subpoenas outside of the restoration of back-up tapes and/or imaging of entire server hard drives.

When the application is connected to the network, it identifies, preserves, and collects active files based upon criteria established by counsel (such as custodian, file type, and date range). The application then crawls the network based upon this designated criteria and only retrieves the matching files. This process significantly reduces the amount of data collected and subsequently processed and review…saving the client precious time and hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Most importantly, all file metadata is maintained, thus ensuring a legally defensible forensic collection. The application can also be engaged to conduct data sampling.
