Once installed, this cost effect web-based solution, automatically searches data and web servers throughout an enterprise, locating critical electronic documents, archiving them for discovery and then determining who can view them. According to Greg McPolin's 2002 article entitled "E-Discovery: A Common Term is Little Understood", the estimated average cost to manually locate and review a single page of discovery is $2.20. Alternately, the cost to do the same using electronic discovery is 25 cents per page.
